Hey hey, happy Monday! Today I was lucky enough to have my best friend come into the city to hang out for a day, so naturally we decided to spend the entire day shopping (we money we definitely don’t have) and chillin’ out in coffee shops. There’s no better place to go than SoHo.
SoHo is honestly my favorite place in NYC; there’s art on every street corner, the shopping is insane, and everyone is unbelievably fashionable. I’m not kidding, y’all. I literally don’t understand how so many attractive and stylish individuals can live in such a small area. I swear everyone is 5″9 with style out the ass. Every day I’m inspired to up my fashion game and try new things (#thankyoustreetstyle).
SoHo is the place to go for trendy food. Ladurée’s macarons are enough to have me coming back to the area. I’ve also been a major fan of Pressed Juice this summer. I think that’s what I’ll miss most when I head back to Atlanta. Where else am I going to get over-priced meal replacements? I think most of what can be found in this area is French food. My first week here I ate at Balthazaar on Spring St. and had the best escargot of my life. I swear every building in this place has been carefully designed to be as cute and aesthetically pleasing as possible, especially the restaurants. A lot of the pics we took today were taken in the entrance of this cute lil restaurant. It had a ton of greenery and these bulb lights that I honestly want for my apartment. It’s been super-duper hot in the city lately so I dressed super casually. I paired a lace up body suit from Revolve with high-waisted denim shorts from Zara, carrying my usual Topshop backpack. I threw on my Adidas for a full day of walking!
I hope everyone has a fantastic week and an exciting and safe Fourth of July!
Until next time,
